A juried arts festival among the stone buildings of Alabama’s only abbey

For two days each spring, more than 150 booths fill the campus of St. Bernard Abbey and Preparatory School with artists demonstrating and selling their handcrafted work.

The world-famous Ave Maria Grotto sits right next door, and festival guests get reduced admission all weekend. The weekend ends with the giveaway of a new car and other prizes.

Bloomin’ Festival is the largest annual fundraiser for the operation and upkeep of St. Bernard Prep.
